Statement of Work

In my art, I like to capture the beauty of human emotions. My work is about how I connect to nature, my passion for the greater universe and my existence within it's beauty and vastness.

I express this relationship with nature through the nude figure as I find this is the most pure and authentic human form. My female figures are a reflection of my own self.

Morbid curiosities is at the root of my motivation to explore and bring images I find odd and fascinating to life. Often this requires me to experiment with my tools and methods to achieve the final result. Recently I have started to use natural colouring derived from mother earth. I use flowers, plants and tea to create my pigments. As these are natural substances, the end results are almost always unpredictable - which I love!

In life, I strive to always be moving and changing. I crave excitement and discovering new things. I view the world as a playground and I am here to play and explore.
